Businessmentals Strengthens Support for Freelancers with Launch of 2018 Workshop Series

Starting this month, Businessmentals will be organizing a series of workshops designed to help freelancers answer some burning questions, develop new strategies for driving results and stay competitive. The innovative e-commerce venture led by Steve Ashby currently offers professional support and business know-how through high-level templates created specifically for this largely disorganized sector.

Designed by the same experts who create their business products, these workshops will include topical presentations  from the Businessmentals team, interactive exercises to help attendees grasp concepts and the opportunity to speak one-on-one with these experts and get their questions answered.

On January 25th 2018, the Businessmentals team will host their first 3-hour workshop at the NEST, the popular urban co-working space at the TRYP Wyndham Hotel.  The VAT Survival Guide for Freelancers won’t just tell you what you need to do, but show you how to do it, according to Steve Ashby, Founder of Businessmentals.

“The introduction of VAT is a major event for UAE Freelancers so they need figure out how to work within this new scenario,” said Ashby. “For example, many big businesses which use Freelancers are refusing to work with anyone who doesn’t have a Tax Registration Number.  But many Freelancers  don’t earn enough to have to register for VAT.  So what’s the best thing to do? That’s the kind of issue we’ll cover in the workshop.”

Businessmentals teaches Freelancers how to develop a Rapid Change/Rapid Results mindset.  They show how to use the Ask, Adapt and Act framework to quickly make the best choices in any given business situation. They also expect users who use their materials to get a quick ROI (QROI).  They do this by making their products instantly Ready To Use (IRTU) without having to spend excessive time adapting and customising, and their workshops are focused on taking action.

“Think of the time spent at these events as an investment in yourself, as you learn how to become more productive, professional and profitable. They’re also the perfect opportunity to meet potential partners, clients and mentors to grow with.  Each event is geared towards setting you up for success.”

The Businessmentals team is already planning workshop #2, scheduled for early February, which will focus on how to use planning to become more productive and profitable.
