The 3rd generation Santa Fe comes with the tagline: ‘What defines you, Inspires us’, which reflects Hyundai’s relentless drive to accommodate and dominate its market segment – creating a vehicle that is both practical and cutting-edge.
Raising the bar for family SUVs, the new Santa Fe boasts new capabilities, an aesthetically pleasing ‘Fluid Sculpture’ design, a host of new features and impressive fuel economy to give passengers an even better driving experience.

The figures are the best in the history of the company and were driven to a large extent by the excellent reception of the new Elantra and Sonata models, launched for the 2012 season. The company is confident of further growth following the worldwide acclaim for the next generation Santa Fe due to hit the UAE shores later this month.

Outside, the SUV is a force to be reckoned with its new design concept ‘Storm Edge’ that captures the strength and individuality that defines nature’s elements, encapsulating it with a body that emanates irrepressible motion.
Complete with Hexagonal grill, HD headlight accents, its low stance, rising beltline, rear spoiler and wrap around taillights; the new Santa Fe is looking better than ever.
Inside, the Santa Fe embraces formative elements, dynamic contrast and three-dimensional connectivity with a strong emphasis on urban design.
The 3rd generation offers more room and comes packed with amenities, while still being economically appealing. Functionality and comfort were in mind when it came to the design, and can be seen, for example, in the added headroom and second row leg room, with seating convenience improved by lowering the hip point and ground clearance.
Yet deeper inside still, efficiency is given a boost with its 2.4 or 3.3 Theta II MPI engine. Featuring an enhanced variable intake system, this provides better performance with various mechanical developments – such as the integrated chain cover for lighter-weight composition and better fuel economy. An integrated drive gear and pump BSM relieves oil pressure, a piston cooling jet improves reliability and performance, and a support bracket integrated chain cover results in less weight and improved rigidity.
